About Rebecca

Rebecca strongly believes in and will advocate for women's rights and choices in childbirth

After graduating with a First-Class Honours Midwifery degree in London, Rebecca furthered her training, at The Farm Midwifery Centre. It was a unique experience to meet with some truly inspirational midwives such as Ina May Gaskin and Pamela Hunt. Rebecca shares their philosophy of holistic and woman-centred care.

Rebecca has worked in a few West London hospitals and has experience of a broad range of pregnancies and births. Since becoming an independent midwife (a midwife who works outside the NHS in a self-employed capacity), Rebecca has supported many women during home births and hospital births.

Rebecca is a great yoga enthusiast and practices as much as she can on her days off. She has seen first-hand how beneficial prenatal yoga practice is. Therefore, it was an easy decision to become certified as a pregnancy yoga teacher with a Yoga Alliance-accredited course.

Rebecca has had UNICEF training in breastfeeding support. She also trained with Denise Tiran in reflexology techniques for pregnancy.
