Rebecca has seen first-hand how women who have practised yoga during their pregnancy have a more comfortable pregnancy and an easier labour. Pregnancy yoga helps to tone muscles and the power of breathing in yoga helps women to connect with their bodies and babies. They can use the tools they have learned in their pregnancy yoga class to help them stretch and ease backache, help focus on their breathing, and turn their babies into an optimal fetal position to aid in the birth.

Since Rebecca enjoys a regular yoga practice during her spare time, and with the above benefits in mind, she thought she would combine two of her interests (midwifery and yoga) and trained at Yoga mama on a Yoga Alliance-accredited course. She can visit you in your home for one-to-one Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga classes in Ealing, and other parts of West and Southwest London.

Over the summer months Rebecca will be offering yoga in Lammas Park, Ealing.

  • Wednesday, Thursdays @ 11:00-12:00
  • Saturdays @ 10:30-11:30


Postnatal Mums and Baby Yoga

Rebecca teaches some classes at Tribeca Studios in Ealing, and at Yoga West in Acton.

In Rebecca's Prenatal classes you will:

  • be able to ask any midwifery-related questions
  • learn safe and gentle postures and movements specifically adapted to pregnancy
  • learn from an experienced midwife with plenty of tips and handy information
  • strengthen, tone, improve flexibility to prepare you for labour, birth and motherhood
  • ease tension and stress
  • learn poses to aid optimum fetal positioning
  • practice with rebozo sifting
  • relax with aromatherapy
  • be guided through breathing techniques to help cope during labour
  • strengthen the bond between you and your baby
